RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Jacqueline Vivanco recorded eight service aces and Kristen Decker registered 10 kills and 15 digs with three aces of her own to help West Chester extend its winning streak to 15 straight on the strength of a 3-0 sweep over host Felician Thursday night.
West Chester (15-0) also extended its consecutive game winning streak to 22 games with its seventh straight shutout of an opponent. The Golden Rams have not gone more than three games in a match since beating Edinboro, 3-1, on Sept. 1. They have never been taken to a deciding fifth game yet this fall.
West Chester easily dispatched Felician by scores of 30-8, 30-13 and 30-11. Ashley Focht posted nine kills, Michelle Powers recorded nine kills and two aces and Lisa Yeasted served up 36 assists in the victory.
West Chester returns to PSAC action on Saturday with a road trip to Kutztown in a critical Eastern Division matchup with the Bears.
